February 4, 1939 to June 26, 2022

Obituary

Died at Pleasant View Towers on Sunday June 26, 2022.  His life will be celebrated and remembered by his wife Glenda and his dearly loved son, Philip and his wife Christina.  Leaving with many memories his sister Patricia (Rick) and his precious great niece Alison Sheppard, as well as a large circle of other relatives and special friends.

To our extended family at 1SW (PVT) you were a blessing.  You provided Ike with a homelike and comfortable environment with all of his needs met on a daily basis.  Your unwavering, exceptional, and professional care never went unnoticed.  Thank you for your support and love for Ike’s continued well being, and to all the Disciplines involved with Ike’s care.

No visitations.  Flowers and donations to Ike’s memory are graciously declined.  A committal service will occur on Thursday, June 30 at 11AM at the Anglican Cemetery Columbarium, Kenmount Road with Father Edward Keeping officiating.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Carnell’s Funeral Home.

Glenda — I am so sorry, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you find comfort to know that he is at peace.. Sit back and reminisce about all the wonderful memories you made, it helps to ease the pain. I, too, got to know you both at PVT on 1SW, my husband Henry was on the same floor and we had many chats. Henry died the same day as Ike at 1:26PM. Take care of yourself Glenda.
