He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. Jeff Greg and Judy,

Beverly and I were so sorry to here about mom’s passing. Our deepest condolences to you all.

Jeff , Greg and Judi:
Lyn, William and I are very sorry to hear of your loss..
We fondly remember our visit to St. John’s. Your mum opened her house to us, and spoiled with us food (oh my, so much food) and equal measures of hospitality, along with doting on us. She definitely represented to us the true heart of Newfoundlander generosity! She always took the time to send us a Christmas card, and whenever she visited Ottawa, it was always a delight when we could all get together.
Our sincerest condolences to you, Greg and Judi.

So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing . Another beautiful soul from Gleneyre street , gone from this earth. I saw her last at my own, mom’s funeral , just a year ago. It was so good to see her! My sincere condolences to you all . Rest in Peace Mrs Perchard

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing , I have a lot of childhood memories of her. My deepest condolences to all the family.

I worked with Ivy for many years at the QEII Library. We shared many a laugh and upon retirement we got together as the circulation retirees for lunch and catch up on the news since our last lunch. She talked about her family and you could see by her face how proud she was of all of you. RIP Ivy.

Judi, Jeff, Greg, and families,
It was with much sadness I heard of your Mom’s passing. Just last fall when I was home for a couple of months I had so many conversations with her. She would call every other day to check on Mom’s progress.
Oh the fond memories I have of our camping days when we were kids. We often got rained on but we sat underneath the tarps and had fun anyway!
Our family spent a lot of time together in those days.
I also remember Ivy with her pretty painted nails. AND sometimes when we saw her coming we would cringe because she loved to pinch our cheeks and it hurt!
She was a gentle and kind lady and a great Mom.
Loving thoughts coming your way during this time.
Your cherished memories and her spirit will keep her close.

Shared many break/lunch time conversations and chuckles with Ivy when we worked together. Sincerest condolences to the family at this sad time. Bev Skanes

Greg, Jeff, & Judy

I was both shocked and saddened to learn earlier today of your Mom’s death. She was a wonderful neighbour on Gleneyre Street but more importantly she was one of my Mom’s good and true friend.s. The two of them enrolled in and took the same “Pre-Beginner Class” swimming lessons together more times than I can count. And each time they passed they both decided that they didn’t want to venture up to the deep end of the pool in the “Beginners Class” so they would re-register for the “Pre- Beginners” lessons again!!! How many laughs did the two of them have over the years talking about those lessons. In the past several years I would run into your Mom at the gym where she would be diligently working out on the rowing machine and we would always have a chat. She always spoke of her family with love for each one of you. On behalf of my Dad, Jim Lambe please accept our sincere condolences. I like to think that she and Mom are together again talking and laughing about those lessons one more time.
