Ivy’s professional life was dedicated to long service with the Bank of Nova Scotia, to which she demonstrated intense loyalty, integrity and trustworthiness. Her career started  with the Bank before her seventeenth birthday and took her to several assignments and placements with the Bank including a stint in Ontario.

As a member of St. Mark’s Anglican Church in St. John’s she was a regular attendee, member of ACW and Altar Guild and was often called on to practice her accounting skills at money management.

During her illness she was attended by The Collaborative Care Team at Pippy Place, the ER team at HSC and the medical team at 4NB, for which her entire family express deep gratitude for compassion and care provided at each location.
