Passed away suddenly on August 16th, 2017, Jim Churchill. Leaving to mourn his wife of 46 years, Ruth; cherished daughter Sherry; son-in-law Scott; sister Violet Tilley (Jim); mother-in-law Sadie Day; sister-in-law Elizabeth Dicks (Craig); brothers-in-law Ray (Barb), and Warren (Carol); sisters-in-law Donna Churchill & Mary Lou Ryan; special nephews and nieces Curtis, Betty, Rhiannan, Tony, Kirsten, Kalen, Rebecca, Stephanie, Jennifer, Brittany, and Benjamin; special great-niece Ava; His E.V Harvey family, and a large circle of cousins and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater road. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 from 11 a.m – 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Lawrence Anglican Church on Sunday, August 20th, 2017 at 2 p.m. No flowers by request, donations may be made in his memory to St. Lawrence Anglican Church.

I am so sorry for the loss of such a sweet and funny man. Jim was like family to me and we shared many laughs and chuckles over the years.
So sorry I couldn’t pay my respects in person but know you have been on my mind every minute since I heard the sad news. Rest in Peace, Jim
Thoughts and prayers with Jim’s family at this time. It was always a pleasure to speak with him when I was back home. Spoke with him last month while I was there. Rest in peace Jim.

I’m saddened to hear of your loss. When I think of Jim I think of someone who was always smiling and who made sure Kyle had all the cheese he wanted. He played a big part in our childhood. Thinking of you.
