Shocked to learn of Mr. Young’s passing. It was only a few weeks ago I met you both at Dominion and he looked great. I grew up knowing you both as a young girl who lived not far away on Logy Bay Road. He was such a quiet gentle man and dedicated volunteer at St. Marks. My sincere condolences to you and each of your family. 🙏🏽

I am so sorry to hear of Jims passing. I have known Jim and Jessie for many years and remember all the good times we shared, My cincere condolences to Jessie and family. He will be sadly missed.

So terribly saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. Much of my childhood memories of cadets and holidays are filled with fond memories of both Jesse and Jim. Growing up with Stephen close in age, I always felt as if you all were the same as family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

To my dear sister-in-law Jessie Young and her whole family. I was indeed sad to hear of Jim’s passing. Given the circumstances I am thankful that he is no longer suffering. In spite of me being on the West Coast I still felt a closeness to Jim & Jessie. We had the privilege of them visiting us one time in Royston, and had a great time that year. I will make a donation to a good charity in memory of my brother-in-law. I shall try to keep in touch, I am up there in years also, but try to remembr important dates. Love all of you. My thoughts will be with you, and I hope I can get a broadcast of the service, as much as I would love to I cannot make to St. John’s due to ill health. Rest in peace dear Jim.

I have very fond memories of Uncle Jim during the times I was lucky enough to travel to St. John’s on business. and stayed in the house where Uncle Jim and his siblings were born on Queens Road. He and Aunt Jessie were kind enough to spend time touring around showing me all the place my mom use to go to growing up in St. John’s . It was always so nice when they visited Ottawa. Uncle Jim’s sister Mary Jane Eyamie (nee Young) and our family here send our condolences to Aunt Jessie and the family..

Janet Caroleo (nee Eyamie) Mary’s daughter and husband Joe Caroleo from Ottawa
