Deepest condolences to Jim’s family. I too have many fond memories of childhood in and around the Clarke home on Morris Avenue – many moons ago.. RIP Jim.

To Edward and family. So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. Brings back memories of when I lived in the old neighborhood.

So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. Went to school with Jim from Holy Cross up to high school. Jim was a quiet studious type, and pretty well knew all the answers in class exams. He was a great friend and we worked on many computer and electronic projects together. His family opened their home to us all. Jim, you’ll be surely missed.

To Edward and Jacqueline, I was so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. It’s been a while since I had seen Jim, but he was such a lovely person. And Jacqueline, I met you a few times when I ran into you and your dad around the city. It was so obvious to see how much he loved you and cared for you. I was sorry to have missed his wake, due to illness. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Jim’s family and friends. God bless, and may he rest in peace. 🙏

Sorry for your loss
I know he will be greatly missed

So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. He will always be near you in both your mind and heart.

All of us at the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association-Newfoundland and Labrador (CHHA-NL) who work with Jacqueline are very sad to hear the news of your father’s illness and passing and offer our condolences. We wish the entire family the very best.

Sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. Sincere condolences to Jim’s family and friends. Lots of great memories from Morris Ave.

With deepest sympathy to Ed and Jim’s family.

I have many very fond memories of Jim from the 70’s and 80’s on Morris Ave. The Clarke house was the center of activity. Car repairs and rebuilds, camper van renos, numerous photo and movie shoots and viewings, electronics projects and, of course, parties. The stereo and organ were often flat out. Jim was always there with his laugh and his camera. He was such a great guy and a lot of fun.

I hope that your many wonderfull memories of Jim help you through this difficult time.

Sorry for your loss.
RIP

Sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I went right up through school with him at Holy Cross. He was always a quiet guy and never got into trouble. I remember he has the quirkiest hearty laugh. Rest easy Jim, catch you on the other side.

Jim was a great man. I got to know him for over 10 years, and he’s been like a father to me. Jim was always passionate about his baking, photography, and video editing, he also loved his piano and was always teaching himself new songs to learn and play on the piano. I used to always enjoy his homemade cookies and bread, as well as him showing me some of his video editing and the process he used for older and newer photos and videos.

Jim always knew how to brighten a room with his beautiful smile, and heart of gold. Jim was a fantastic father to his daughter, and a wonderful husband to his late wife. They were his whole world.
He was also an amazing cat dad to his late cats, and currently living cat Chester who is in mine and Jacqueline’s care. He was also a great Cat Grandpa to mine and Jacqueline’s cat Zelda and a Reptile Grandpa to our crested gecko Tarzan.

Jim was a very determined, and outgoing person, and he will truly be missed. I’m glad to have met him, and will always proudly call him my father in law. Thank you for everything
Rest in peace Jim, know that your daughter, Cat, and home is in safe and loving hands,

To Ed and Jackie
