Sad to hear about Aunt Joan’s passing. I have many childhood memories of our moms’ weekly shopping days as they searched for the ultimate deals. Later in life, I was privileged to welcome your mom to Calgary on a few occasions – the first to experience the Calgary Stampede and the second as she helped Sherri and I celebrate our wedding day. Both times, I witnessed your mom having lots of fun. She was a wonderful lady. I always appreciated how she was a dear older sister and friend to dad and mom. She will be missed. Rest in peace, Aunt Joan.
P.S. pass along hugs to Uncle Bob..

We are deeply saddened to have lost Aunt Joanie. Butch holds many memories of Aunt Joanie, especially since he was deeply intertwined with the Murray family. Aunt Joanie was the matriarch of the family, and family was always the most important thing. Today’s heartbreak is unimaginable especially for Bob, Rick, Rob and Todd but hopefully in time the happy memories replace the grief of today for all the family. Love Butch and Cathy

Mom, when we chatted Saturday night I had no idea it would be our last. As usual instead of enjoying your Birthday you were thinking about dad’s the next day to ensure he had a good day. Since dad went to a care facility for dementia you spent everyday with him to make sure he was looked after.
Mom your life was dedicated to your family and I was so very Blessed to have you as my mother. Your time has come to rest eternally as well bring so much happiness to your family & friends. in Heaven. I will continue to live like you taught me . With Rick & Todd I will make sure Dad is looked after till his time comes to join you in Heaven.
Rest In Peace Mom. I love you!
