A very special man has peacefully passed. Leaving to mourn his wife of 73 years, Emmie Lou (nee Goobie) and his children Judy (Kevin Hoddinott), Nancy (Robert Patten), and John (Cynthia Crosbie) To his grandchildren and great grandchildren he was dearly known as ‘Pop’
He had a long career building businesses from Goose Bay to St John’s and in later years he was known for his baking.
We would like to thank all the staff and friends at Tiffany Village and Dr Mercedes Penton that were so kind to him over the last three years.
Dr Paul Johnson at the HSC and Dr Andrew Hutton for their support and kindness over the years.
A Celebration of Life will take place in the future.
Donations in his name may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation, the St. John’s SPCA, or a charity of your choice.
John was our neighbor in Florida, both he and Lou were very sweet and kind. We enjoyed chatting with him in the pool many times as well as all the baked treats he would bring for us to try.. He is missed.
