Obituary

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of John Leo Clarke, Age 60 on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021. Left to mourn is his loving wife Karen and his step-children, Olivia, Kevin and Orlando. Also leaving to mourn is, Tyler, Douglas and Noah Hanlon. John’s two sisters Violet Romaine and Janet Clarke. As well as his two brothers Ronald and Eugene Clarke, and a large circle of family and friends. John was a retired military police officer who served his country from 1981-1997. He shared many stories from his military days, whether they were good or bad and was proud to serve his country. John had a way of captivating his audience, something that he was good at. We would like to thank the staff at the Dr. H Bliss Murphy cancer care clinic, and the staff of 4NorthA at the Health Sciences Center, and a special thank you to Dr. Dawn Armstrong, Dr. David Larson, and Dr. Bruce Doulton. At John’s request Cremation has taken place. John was a huge animal lover so if you would like to make a donation in his memory you can do that at your local SPCA as well as the Poppy Fund.

“You were loved beyond measure, and you will be greatly missed, until we meet again my love.”
