Obituary

Passed peacefully away in the presence of family, at the Palliative Care Unit, Miller Centre, John Squires “Jack” of St. Philip’s, age 88 years.

Predeceased by his wife of 50 years Emily (2006), and many other family and friends.

Leaving to mourn are his three sons Barry (Debbie), Derrick, Perry (Nicole); two daughters Marilyn (Reg), Michelle (Norbert) and all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. One brother Joseph Jr. (Evelyn); three sisters Joyce (Graham), Dora, Judy (Doug); sister-in-law Dawn (Paul). Also, a large number of extended family and friends.

Thank you to staff of Palliative Care, Community Health, Ambulance Service, HSC Urology and Cancer Clinic. As well as his caregiver and friend Sharon.

Extra thanks to Aunt Judy and Uncle Doug, Wayne (lifelong friend) for all the love and support you gave to our dad. Thank you will never be enough.

As per his wishes there will be no service or funeral – cremation has taken place, and a private interment to follow at a later date.

You were loved and you will be missed – rest easy now dad.
