Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Miller (nee Vokey) of Topsail, CBS passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Hospital on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Mrs. Miller was 79 years old.
Predeceased by her husband, Monty Miller, son Kirk Miller, father William Vokey, brothers Bill Vokey, Wayne Vokey, sister Emmie Noseworthy, parents in-law Charlotte and Gordon Miller, sister in-law Betty Vokey, and brother in-law George Noseworthy.
Leaving to mourn her loving family, mother Effie Vokey, daughter Kim Miller, sister Wanda Vokey (Lorne), brother Sam Vokey (Holley), sister in-law Patience Power (Clayton), her special friend Gerry Tulk, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday, May 26 from 2-4 & 6-8 -p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral service will be held from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 27 at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the SPCA, Beagle Paws or charity of one’s choice.
