Junior Alfred Coles

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved husband, father, godfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend, Junior Alfred Coles, of St. John’s, formally of Fogo, Fogo Island. Junior passed away suddenly at St. Clare’s Hospital in St. John’s, age 66 years.

Predeceased by his parents Stephen & Joan Coles; brother Derrick Coles; sister Rebecca Coles; and brother-in-law Johnny Penton.

Leaving to mourn with fond memories are his wife Cecilia Coles; daughter Pam Coles; sisters Wavey Heath (Johnny) and Winnie Penton; and brother Bill Coles (Sadie). Also left to mourn are his brothers-in-law Aiden Farewell, and Joe Farewell (Rosemarie Evans); sisters-in-law Jean Coles, and Sherry Oake; godson Paul Oake; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd., following COVID-19 restrictions, on Saturday, October 3^rd, 2020 from 2:00PM-4:00PM & 7:00PM-9:00PM with cremation to follow. A funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 14^th, 2020 at 2:00PM with inurnment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
