Kathy White, 65, of Millertown, NL passed away peacefully on September 23, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Kathy was born on October 28, 1958 in Grand Bank, NL to Emma and the late Albert Goulding. She was the eldest of four children.
Predeceased by her brother Domino Goulding and her father Albert Goulding. Left behind with cherished memories are her husband of 46 years, Ed White; and their three sons, Kris (Kandi), William (Melissa) and Adam (Holly); her mother Emma Goulding; her brother Bob Goulding (Shirley); and sister Marg Powell (Walter). Kathy was also the very proud grandma of Aaden, Ella, Tanner and Lliam.
Kathy was a small woman with the biggest heart but what she lacked in size, she made up for in strength, patience and a great sense of humour. Together she and Ed, the love of her life and best friend, raised their three sons to become great men, and they were her pride and joy. Later in life, through her boys, she gained three daughters and adored them just as much as they adored her. One of the greatest joys of her life was becoming a Grandma. Kathy fiercely loved the family that she and Ed created.
Kathy’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to every doctor, nurse and hospital staff who treated her over the past several years. Special thank you to those in the dialysis unit at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls.
A celebration of life will be held at the Millertown Community Church on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 1 p.m.
Sincere Condolences to all of Kathy’s family

Our deepest condolences to Ed & family. We trust that the fond memories of Kathy will live forever in your hearts and gradually reduce the pain of today.
Eddie, Sons, Mrs. Goulding and every member of your families.
Our hearts are broken knowing Kathy is no longer with us in this world. From the time I met her in school, she was always a pleasure to be around. After many years in Ottawa, Kathy and Eddie returned home to Millertown where Kathy soon became one of Sandy’s closest friends ever. She loved getting together for a cup of tea and a snack, especially enjoying our side x side suppers at Indian Point. No matter how bad her day was going due to her medical treatments, there was always that little smile and laugh when she found something funny. Immensely proud of every member of her family, her face would beam when telling us the stories. She fought so very long and hard with Eddie supporting her every step of the way. RIP Kathy, thank you for the wonderful friendship and memories.
Ed, Kristopher, Billy, Adam and families
