Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our precious Kerri.
Leaving to mourn, yet to celebrate her life, is partner Corey Squires and her two greatest joys, their children Chase and Rebecca Squires; her mother Janice (Peter) Ringrose; father Blair (Robin) Whitman; brother Cody (Ashley) and nephew Theo; step-brother Christopher (Kimberley) and nephew Wesley; half-sister Amanda Thornhill, nieces Kera and Ava and nephew Noah; grandmothers Violet Thomas and Thelma Whitman; mother-in-law Joany Whalen and sister-in-law Nicole Squires and niece Brianna; along with many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends and her dog, Lexus. Predeceased by grandfathers, Cecil Fudge and Russell Whitman.
At the age of seven Kerri was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes. Despite the health limitations that followed over the years, she lived her life with vivacity and good humour. She was a loyal and steadfast friend, partner, daughter, grand-daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and an exceptional mother. If asked, she would tell you that her biggest accomplishment was raising her two children.
The family would like to thank the medical professionals at the Kidney Care Centre in Mount Pearl Square, the Dialysis Unit and the nurses at 4 North A in the Health Science Centre for the exceptional care Kerri received.
In keeping with Kerri’s request, cremation has taken place. To celebrate Kerri’s life, visit Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday, October 12 from 2-4 p.m. A private interment will be held at a later date.

It was with profound sadness that we learned of the death of your precious Kerri. Although we only met Kerri on one occasion, having spent time with Chase & Rebecca during our visits to Newfoundland, we know that she was an exceptionally loving Mom. May precious memories bring healing and strength to Corey, Janice, Chase, Rebecca, Cody, Blair, and Kerri’s entire family.
Janice, Cody, Blair and family, I have not stop thinking of you since I read of Kerri’s passing. at such a young age. I cannot imagine the pain you are going through and hope you will find comfort in memories left behind.
