Obituary

Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on March 6, 2019, Kevin Bridger of Millertown, aged 63 years. Predeceased by his father Harold. Leaving to mourn his mother Marie; sisters Bonnie (Dave) and Linda (Harold); niece Tanya (Barry), nephews Michael and Trevor (Ashley); great nephew Luke and great nieces Ella, Lily and Maya. Family arrangements to take place at a later date in Millertown. Donations in Kevin’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer society.

Marie, I can honestly say that I understand your pain at the loss of Kevin since I know only too well what it is like to lose a beloved child. Sorry to hear the sad news about Kevin, I haven’t been in touch in recent years, I met Kevin in his last years at the COF now Marine Institute and remember him as a great classmate, top of the class, liked a bit of fun like us all…. Over the years we touched base at times and I did work along with Kevin in the Offshore years ago…my sincere sympathies to Kevin’s Family at this difficult time…..Keith…..

Kevin and I were classmates for four years at the old College of Fisheries. We stayed in touch for a number of years and I think the last we spoke he had just accepted a position as captain of a supply vessel. We shared lots of laughs, stories and life reflections along the way. I remember him as a good and intelligent person – my condolences to his family.
