Krystyna passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Health Sciences Centre, on November 9th, 2024, at the age of 74.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, who passed away after a courageous battle with COPD. Krys was known and loved, by many, during her decades-long career at Sears until retirement (mostly in the Village Mall).

In the late 1960s, she met her husband, William Ryall Sr., and they soon moved to Bill’s home city, St. John’s. They lived on Critch’s Path, near Thorburn Road, where she raised her two children, William Jr. and Julia Ann Ryall.

She will be missed by her husband William Ryall Sr. (St. John’s) her daughter Julia (Michael Davis) in British Columbia, her daughter-in-law Holly L. Pender, and her grandchildren Hayley, Jake and Sophie Ryall (all in Ontario), her brother Fred (Ontario), her nephew Richard Aleksandrowicz Jr. (St. John’s), her extended family, friends, and everyone she knew from Sears.

Just learned of Kris’s passing today. So sad I missed a proper opportunity to say “goodbye”.
We worked side by side at Sears for many years. She and I shared many moments of laughter and tears. I offered a ride home many times. I live in Mount Pearl and she lived quite a distance away off Thorburn Rd. It was so worth it to take in and share more opportunities to engage each other’s lives as we grew closer as friends.
She will be missed by many and remembered for what she brought that was of worth to each individual.
I wish I had had opportunity to thank her during her illness for being the blessing she was in my life.
Condolences to each family member.
She will be missed so much more than any words can express.

I will always remember Kris she was a lovely lady and will certainly be missed.❤️

Krys worked beside me at Sears for 5+ years. I was very young and they flung me on cash during a midnight madness at the Village mall. We laughed and both of us gabbed with customers until they bought something else. As mentioned, she was the ultimate in customer service. She was always a warm smile and I always long for those days. May she find peace and some rest now.
