It is with great sadness that we announce Laura’s sudden passing on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 26th, 2022.

Laura was born on June 28th, 1956 in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador. Laura lived in Newfoundland until she was 18 where she then met her loving husband Fred and moved for work at Inco in Thompson, Manitoba. Laura and Fred had 4 beautiful sons: Leonard, Justin, Chris and Matthew. Laura loved family time and enjoyed camping with her husband, sons and many friends. Laura was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and friend. She will be forever missed by all of her family and friends.

She leaves to mourn her sons Leonard, Justin, Chris and fiancée Erin. Laura also leaves to mourn her brother, sister, nieces and nephews, her grandson William as well as her five granddaughters: Hayleigh, Hannah, Emma, Willow and Madison and numerous other family members and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in at the  Carnell Memorial  Chapel 329 Freshwater Road,  on Saturday, November 5th at 2:30 pm with Major Marcella and Bill Hopkins officiating. Interment will be held at the cemetery in Deadman’s Bay, Monday November 7 at 2:00 pm.
