Precious mother and grandmother, Laura Butler (nee LeGrow), aged 89 years, of Bauline passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park with her daughter Kim by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 Years, Bert and her son Robert. Leaving to mourn are her son Terry Butler and her daughter Kim Janes (Brian) and her two cherished grandchildren Rebecca and Noah Janes. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Laura was an active member of the United Church of Bauline, where she played the organ, sang in the choir and actively participated in the UCW. Laura received great care at Chancellor Park and will be missed by the staff and residents of Floor 2 West. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Saturday August 24 and Sunday August 25 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday August 26 at 2:00 p.m. from Bauline United Church followed by interment at Bauline United Church Cemetery, Pouch Cove Line. In lieu of flowers, donations in Laura’s memory may be made to the Bauline United Church.
