Auntie Lenora was truly a great friend to my mam Sylvia across the miles meeting at college & then being friends for life. I have lovely memories of her & Uncle Kev coming to stay with us in Wrexham, Wales. every 2 years as they came over to see family in Aberystwyth. They both made me so welcome when I visited them in St. John’s , nothing was too much trouble as we 3 explored NFLD together.. We had many laughs & wonderful memories.

A truly beautiful lady and neighbour. She was kind and thoughtful and grateful for the smallest gesture.. Yes I remember you with a smile.

I am so sorry to hear of Lenora’s passing. She was truly one of a kind. I had the great honour of getting to know and love Lenora when she was a member of New World Fitness. Her sense of humour, her strength and determination, her kindness and compassion was second to none. Her “bear hugs” at the end of our sessions is a memory I will cherish.

So sorry to hear this lovely lady has passed away. Sincere condolences to all my Stanford cousins who were such an important part of her life.

Lenora was always a pleasure to visit with, visits were interesting and there was always something to talk about. She was independent & so committed to her workouts, even at her age….. I truly admired her spunk. I might add her husband was a true gentleman in every sense, he was faithful to his walks with his air-dales throughout the neighborhood and Bowring Park. Condolences to her family near & far & her friends.
God Bless Lenora

I have such fond memories of being a student of Mrs. Stanford’s at Bishop Field School. She played the piano with ease, brought records to class and taught us how to sing in a round. Our concerts were well-oiled machines. Every time I hear Music Box Dancer I think of her. She was one of the best. Condolences to her family.
