He never looked for praises.

He was never one to boast.

He just went on quietly working

for those he loved the most.

His dreams were seldom spoken.

His wants were very few.

And most of the time his worries

went unspoken too.

He’s there a firm foundation

Through all our storms of life

A sturdy hand to hold unto

In times of stress and strife.

A true friend we could turn to

When times were good or bad.

One of our greatest blessing

The man that we called “Dad”!

A Dad leaves his mark in the world through

the love he gives his Family.

To the Sears Family:

When we got the call early Friday morning, we could hardly take in the message we were told. Shocked to say the least. Our hearts go out to you all and especially to Bernice, Brenda (spouses) and the grandchildren who would do anything to come home. We wish we could hug you, comfort you, cry together, and share stories but please know we are with you all as you go through this sad experience once again.

We’ are thankful for their open home. Mom spent over 45 years going there for fellowship meetings and it was the first home I went too as well. We’re thankful for their faithful lives, pillars in the way. They carried the torch for many years but now the torch is passed.

Hugs to you all,
