Leone, MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS AND KEEP YOU. ❤🙏🙏

LOVE
Stu and Jan.

Sorry to hear of Leone’s passing. She was a wonderful neighbour of mine at L’Anse Aux Meadows. My sincere condolences to the family.

Our condolences to Mrs. Day’s Family: We knew her from Lanse Aux Meadows. Joe & Mrs. Day had the Telegram delivered daily and if she was up first she would bring the paper down and lay it by our door and vice versa. So thoughtful of her. RIP Mrs. Day.

My deepest sympathy on the passing of Leone. We were friends for many years. We always managed to keep in touch on Christmas and birthdays and sometimes in between. I was kept up to date on what was happening in the family. She always made me feel special – just as she was to me. Rest in peace Leone and I know you are happy being with Wilson and Gary. I will miss you very much dear lady! Pat Pye / Halifax

To the Family 0f dear Leone. You all have my deep and sincere sympathy upon this sad loss of a most dear and most wonderful person.. Leone and I have been friends for many years. She kept me supplied with homemade preserves and fresh bread. It was always a toss up between us as to who would find the next bakeapples and fresh cream. She is very much missed. RIP my dear sweet friend.

Sincerely,
Charles Percy

Thank you Arlene for keeping me updated.on her condition. Bless you.

To Mrs Days family and friends

My Mother and Mrs Day were wonderful neighbours on Lance Aux Meadows Apartments (Frances Austin). I remember having lovely chats with Mrs Day when I visited Mom

It is with great sadness that I say Good bye for now to my dear friend. Though we met through business we quickly became friends.. I spent many years taking her here and there, and passing the time with her stories of growing up .. I think she adopted me making sure I called her Mother Day.. Not a birthday passed that I didn’t get the call , my cake was ready.. I didn’t meet all of her brothers and sis ters, but, knew them from the love she shared with them.. I know she is happy now with Wilson (the love of her life) and her son Gary. (whom she never got over losing..) May you rest in peace Mother Day.
