So sorry to see this beautiful picture of a young Lillian on Carnell”s page,. This was long before we met her as a companion to our mother, Florence Stirling. She was a wonderful friend to Florence, staying devotedly with her until the time she moved into a nursing home., and even then visiting her to provide comfort and reassurance during the adjustment period. We also remember the true grief she experienced just a short three weeks later when Florence passed away (2005). She was a wonderful friend to us too-always welcoming into her homes in Carbonear and Harbour Grace, and she was always ready for a laugh when Charlie bantered with her. We will miss her! Our deepest sympathies to all the family .

Rest in Peace Lillian. You were a part of my life for over 20 years. You were my fathers’ companion, friend and confidant.. You will surely be missed. Fly high with the angels.

What a beautiful picture. The smile, the light in her eyes. It made it easy to hear her voice and remember the times we spent together. The last time I saw her was a few years ago when Vera and I went to visit her in Swift Current. We loved her. Happy to know she is at Home.????????✝️❤️

We are sorry to hear of Lillian’s passing. We (meaning )the girl that did the Nursing Asst.. course at the General Hospital 54 years ago remember her well. She was a lovely person. We all lost touch with each other. We were getting together this year . RIP our friend. Friends last forever.
