Obituary
Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by her loving family, Lillian Ruth LeGrow, of Bauline, aged 89 years. Predeceased by her son Wayne (2011); sons in law Warren Quinton (2003) and William Hynes (1991). Leaving behind with loving memories her husband of 67 years, Charles; daughters Roma Quinton and Deborah Hynes-Morgan (Rick); grandsons Christopher Quinton (Ashley), Stephen Quinton (Shayla), Dwayne Hynes (Maria), Charles Hynes (Amie) and Michael Hynes (Shannon); apples of her eye great grandchildren Jaicee and William Hynes; siblings Alton King (Florence), Eileen Moores (Lloyd-deceased); Fanny Hudson (Gordon-deceased), Doris Beachin (Ralph) and Pearl Butler (deceased); sisters in law Stella king (Spurgeon-deceased) and Rita King (Harold-deceased); brother in law Robert Evans (Mary-deceased); and Tony and Trevor LeGrow; as a number of nieces, nephew, other relatives and dear friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday August 28 and Tuesday August 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Wednesday August 30 from the Bauline United Church, Bauline at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Bauline United Cemetery, Pouch Cove Line. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Bauline United Church, Bauline.

Roma, Debbie and families. I was so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I will always remember her as a very gracious and kind lady. Her countless hours playing in church is something a lot of the people, like me, who grew up in Bauline will always remember. Hold the wonderful memories you have of her, and I’m sure you have lots, close to your heart. She will be dearly missed.
Very sorry to hear ‘Aunt’ Ruth has passed on. She was Aunt to all the kids in Bauline back in the day, even if you weren’t related to her. She will be missed dearly by the whole community.

I was saddened when Deb called to tell me , Aunt Ruth had passed on. I remember visiting Bauline and being welcomed with open arms by she and Uncle Charl both. I enjoyed their visits to NovaScotia and her strength when Bill died. My daughter was blessed to have her as a great Aunt. Rest in peace beautiful lady..
