Obituary
It is with great sadness the family of the late Linda Anderson announce her passing at the age of 63. After a hard fought battle with Crohn’s, Linda passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s, NL. Linda was predeceased by her devoted husband of 37 years, Clarence Anderson, her grandparents Ward and Florence Vardy, her father James Bunter, stepfather James Hartney, father-in-law William Anderson, and, sister-in-law Donna Sheaves.
She leaves to mourn with loving memories her daughters Ashley (Stephen) Chaulk and Sacha (Paul) Curran, her treasured grandchildren Ronan, Thatcher and Clare Chaulk, Spencer and granddaughter Curran to arrive, her loving mother Mary (Bunter) Hartney; sisters Elizabeth (Robert) Hardy, Joanne (Dave) Ingram, Sandra (Steve) Bunter; Uncle James (Margaret) Vardy, mother in-law Elsie Anderson; sister in-law Wilma (Dave) Pike, Sherry (Chester) Keeping, and Cathy (Darrin) Buffett; special friends Joanne Moss and Rose Simms. Linda also leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda was well known for her kind heart, quick tongue and unconditional love for her family, particularly her grandchildren. She loved to dance, enjoying every moment spent with her family and friends making memories, sharing laughter and good times. She had keen eye for detail, be it planning a gathering or doing the job she loved. Linda was a special lady who left an imprint on the hearts of many.
In keeping with Linda’s wishes cremation has occurred and a family gathering will be held at a later date.
Special thanks to her health care team that have shown tremendous care and compassion throughout her journey; Dr. D. Boone, Dr. D. Pace, RN Regina Guinchard, 4NB Nursing and Support Staff, and the Eastern Health Community Nursing Team.

God love her , she is free of pain and suffering. I will remember all the good times Eric and I had with Linda and Clarence . A good friend to all. Love you , my friend. Rest easy.

Ashley and Sacha, I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your mother. She spoke about you both and her precious grandchildren often, with so much pride and love. To Joann, I am so sorry for the loss of your sister friend. She told me many times you were her angel and how blessed she was to have you in her life. Thank you for bringing her to our knitting group, so we were able to get to know her and spend some time with her. She was a kind hearted, loving and dear soul. Linda, rest easy. You will be missed and forever in our hearts.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Linda’s passing. She was certainly a special person and was very near and dear to the hearts of her 4nb caretakers, who became like her family. I helped care for Linda on 4nb when her grandson Ronan was born. There couldn’t be a prouder, more loving grandmother! Truly breaks my heart to hear this news but I’m sure Clarence is waiting for her with open arms. My condolences to all of her loving family.
