Steve, Chad, Donica and the Bellevue Family,

To say we are saddened and shocked and in disbelief is an understatement. My heart goes out to you all. As you well know, Steve, Madge and I flew together back in the early-1970s. After I left EPA, I was delighted when Madge would be on the counter at YYT when I travelled in later years. I loved your impromptu drop-in’s in your Miata or other various vehicles over the years when you’d be cruising by Roaches Line… May peace and warm memories fill your hearts where Madge has left a hole. Speedy medical recovery to you, Steve, as you heal from your injuries in the accident.
You are not alone in your loss – we loved Madge, as did all who knew her!

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Sharpes passing. I have been doing her hair for at least 15 years, the Sharpes are like family to me. I will miss her terribly. Thinking of Mr. Sharpe & family at this very difficult time….

Dearest Steve,
Maurie and I know that the heartbreak of Majella’s loss is immeasurable for you and your entire family.
You and Majella welcomed us unknown into your home with such generosity, joy, fun and humour that time has not and will never dim. You and Majellla had already made Alexander a part of your family and it seemed as if in no time you embraced your roles as parents-in-law with the same wonderful outlook on a life to be enjoyed and shared that was your hallmark.
We are privileged to have had you both share our lives with some memorable adventures, and as we continue to enjoy Majella’s artistry in our home, we want you know that our love and caring thoughts are with you and your family now and for a long time to come.
We trust that in time you will find some peace.
From Susie, Maurie and all of the Lang family in “Downunder” Australia

My dear Steve, I was shocked and saddened to read in the paper today of Majella’s passing. I know that she died doing what she loved to do, travelling with you. I have missed seeing her at Ed’s classes as i haven’t been going due to Covid. She was a beautiful soul and I enjoyed her company and loved her painting style. She was so generous in giving many of her paintings to friends, family and charities. We in the art groups will miss her companionship, her infectious sense of humour and her laugh and I know that you will also. I’m thinking of you and Chad and Danica at this very tragic time. I will watch for the service and hope to attend and see you in person. Take care Judith Bennett
