Obituary
Passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family, at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s, on Thursday, April 28, 2022, Margaret Frances Parrell (nee McDonald), aged 78 years.
Predeceased by her husband Cyril, parents Maurice & Sarah McDonald and brothers: Michael, Maurice, Jerome and Al.
Leaving to mourn her devoted daughters Brenda (Frank) Young and Elaine (Terry) Williams, her 4 grandchildren: Zachary & Logan Williams and Mallory & Brittany Nash and their father Rick. Also her 3 precious great-grandchildren, who called her their “Big Nanny”: Rylan Freeman and Lincoln & Hudson Brown; her brothers and sisters: Nicholas (Annie), Paddy, Laura, Annie, Harold, Brian (Linda), Marcella (Gord) and Kenneth (Clara); sisters-in-law: Rita McDonald, Clara Maclaren, Hilda Shively, Rose Bingerheimer and many extended members of the Parrell and McDonald Family.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, May 1, from 2-4pm; 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, at 9:30am, at St. Teresa’s Church, Mundy Pond Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted.

The world is a little less bright without my aunt Marg in it. I have a lot of good memories of my dad and I visiting her when I was in school in St.John’s. Her and my dad always had a special bond, God willing they are together again.
