Obituary
Our beautiful mother, Margaret Mary O’Dell passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 65. Her last few weeks of life was spent at St. Clare’s Hospital, where she battled many illnesses. Mom was born August 16, 1957 in Southern Labrador and was raised in Pinware NL.
Left to mourn are her 3 daughters, Lorrie Pike (Curvy) Faith Pike, and Pamela Pike, and her spouse of over 20 years, William Lowe, who misses her more than words can say. Mom is predeceased by her mother Imelda O’Dell, and father, Joseph O’Dell. Her siblings are James O’Dell (Deseased), Janet Yetman (Gerald), Gertie O’Dell (Spyro), Adelor O’Dell (Donna), Elaine O’Dell (Sammy), Bernadette O’Dell (Leroy), Freda O’Dell (sister), Rosita O’Dell (Glen), Junior O’Dell (deseased brother). Also, her 5 grandchildren, Shania, Kyle, Julian, Noah, and Hope. She has many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, & cousins.
Our mother was the eldest of 10 children. Mom was known for her delicious cooking and her homemade bread. She loved shopping, her family, she loved children, and she loved jewelry. She loved her soap operas, scary movies, and nice chats with her friends and family. She was a kind and gentle woman who will be missed dearly.
May you be at rest and know you are loved. Fly high with the angels.

Growing up in Pinware, everyone knew everyone. Throughout many of my teenage years, Margs niece April and myself spent many days and nights at Margs and Willies. Marg was such a special lady. Kind, genuine and caring, were just some of the many beautiful characteristics that described her. Many nights of playing cards, watching scary movies, swinging on that swing that Willie had made for her, digging potatoes in the garden, and the laughs we all shared. These are just few of the many memories we all had made. Pinware has lost a bright light, and that void will be impossible to fill. My sincerest condolences, and my deepest thoughts, prayers, and love are being sent back home to Pinware, and to everyone that knew and loved this amazing person.
