Gail and I send our sincere condolences to Bob and family. Having known Marie for most of our lives we remember her as a kind, welcoming, beautiful person.
It was always a pleasure to visit their home for the many dinners we enjoyed there. Rest in Peace Marie
Marie you were one of my dearest older sisters. I so looked up to you over the years and admired your wisdom and courage. One of my fondest memories will always be whenever you called me you would say, “this is your twin sister calling” (because our names were practically the same). I only hope I can mirror the care, love, compassion and courage you have shown throughout your life. May you rest in peace my sister in the loving arms of God and your darling son Chris.
Mary
A lifelong friend and sister-in-law, Marie Haynes (84) went home to be with the Lord last night. Maureen and I and our five children, David, Donna, Diane, Susan and Kathy want to join my brother Bob and Elaina as well as their grandchildren as they remember her as a wife, Mother , grandmother and great-grandmother. Marie will joyfully join her beautiful son Chris as he passed away a few years ago and has been waiting for this reunion in heaven. Maureen and I will always treasure the years that were spent together, especially the fun times we had travelling and camping with our children. She was such a blessing to all of us and her intelligence and sharp-wittedness was something to behold. Good-bye for now Marie but we will see you again. We will all miss and love you and hope to see you again someday. Dave, Maureen and family.
