In loving memory of Marilyn Ryall. Passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Palliative Care.
Predeceased by husband Mike; parents Ruby and Mervin Pollett; and brother Randy.
Leaving to mourn her loving sister Rosalind (Charlie) of St. John’s; brother Robert of Edmonton; sister in law’s Diane, Linda, Eileen, Christine, Sandra; and brother in laws Jim, Dan, Edward; nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; many cousins; friends Genny and Cathy, who were special to the family as well.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Palliative Care and the Health Sciences Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. from The Carnell Memorial Chapel.

Many years ago Marilyn and I grew into young women together, with Roz as our trusty mentor and friend. She was so loving, kind, humble and funny – one couldn’t help but love her to pieces! We walked Kenmount Road and through the woods and swam in the streams in summer, and sat in Roz’s old Maverick with only a candle to keep us warm many a long winter’s night. We talked and learned to love music and dreamt young girls’ dreams. Life took us along different paths, but all the different paths still eventually lead to the same destination. I don’t know why you (and Mikey) had to suffer Marilyn, I just know I loved you in this world, and I will in the next one too – see you there. To Roz especially, and all her family and friends, I am so very deeply sorry for your loss. 💔💔💔
