Obituary
Marilyn Squires (nee Mercer) passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Health Science Centre on Friday October 22,2021.
Marilyn Squires was predeceased by her mother Irene Mercer, her father-in-law William Squires, mother-in-law Margaret Squires, and her special sister Ollie Squires.
Leaving to mourn her loving husband Doug Squires of fifty one years. Her adoring sons Neil and Brian(Sandra). Her grandchildren, her pride and joy, Chris, Emily, Tyler and Bryanna. Also Leaving to mourn a circle of family, friends and neighbours.
A special thanks to caregivers for your wonderful care and support. Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses in the emergency room and on the fifth floor at the Health Science Centre. A very special thanks to Donna who was always there for Marilyn and went above and beyond. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday, October 25 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
A committal service will take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 2pm at St. Phillips Anglican Cemetery.
Flowers are kindly accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
