
Passed peacefully away surrounded by the love of her family on December 12th, 2024, Marina Mabel Denty. Born and raised in Little Bay East, she lived a full life with many great memories. We are so sad to lose her from our lives but find great comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her husband Herman and son Walter.
Predeceased by parents Grace and Allister Scott, husband Herman, son Walter, brothers Frederick (Vera) and Herbert (Marie), along with sisters Monetta Marshall (Ewart), Doreen Grandy (Clyde), and Joyce Meade (Harold).
Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories her daughters Pamela Denty and Lorraine Hodder (Greg), son David Denty (Athena), Grandchildren Matthew Denty, Tyler Hodder (Megan), Travis Hodder (Nikita), Jessika Denty-Rideout (Matthew), Rebecca Decker (Jordan), Brittany Keeping (Kat), Ashton Denty, and Pacey Denty; Great Grandchildren Thalia Denty, Cassidy Hodder, Miles Hodder, Gabriel Hodder, Dominic Hodder, Wesley Hodder, Sullivan Decker, and Adeline Hodder, along with siblings Walter Scott (Joan), Shirley Newhook, Clyde Scott (Cora), and Carl Scott (Colleen). Also left to mourn are a large circle of family and friends, whom she loved dearly.
Special thanks to the staff at chancellor park for their care and compassion for mom over the last couple years, especially Karla and Allison.
A memorial service and interment would be held later in the spring of 2025.

My sincere condolences 💐 on your loss.. Marina was always so kind to me .. Always stopped to chat about her garden and show me her flowers. We ran into each other often at the cemetery as she cleaned up some graves. She will most definitely be missed
