Aunt Marion was one of my Mom’s dearest and oldest friends. I will remember her fondly as a cheerful, gracious, honorable lady who was always well-dressed with wonderful jewellery, gave the best hugs and whose skin was so soft against my cheek. My deepest condolences to David, George their families and friends. With much respect and sadness, I will never forget her kindness.

Good night Marion. We miss you so much. See you in the morning. Mel and Màrge

To the Tilley sons, So sorry to hear of Mrs. Tilley’s passing., I got to know her by , many years ago, working Saturdays at The Strawberry Tree. Mrs. Tilley was a very good friend and coworker of my mom, Sybil Coish. They worked together at the Strawberry Tree for a long time. Anyway, maybe they are catching up now that they are together again. That’s a nice thought. Darlene Stone

To the Tilley families,
Glenn and I were saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. It was always a pleasure when we were in her company and when we learned of the connection with my mom (Clara Lake) many years ago in Hare Bay and Twillingate as well. It was a special afternoon when we all met for an afternoon of tea and memories several years ago, it’s a wonderful memory that I will cherish. Unfortunately Covid prevented us from attending her service. She was a lovely lady and I know you will hole her close in your hearts.

To the Tilley family

David, George and families,
I am so sad for you all. Aunt Marion was one of a kind. So many wonderful qualities. Too many to list but the top would be: kind, caring, compassionate, loving, beautiful, strong. I will miss her smile, her love of family and the gatherings at 11 Halifax Street. Whenever we came home there was always time for a visit and usually a crowd for a meal. She will be forever missed and remembered. I hope your memories will help during this sad time. Hugs to you all, wishing we could be there. Love Jackie, Dennis and Matthew
