Died peacefully on 12 May 2024 (St. John’s Newfoundland) at the age of 84.
Predeceased by her devoted and beloved husband Frederic Henry Coxworthy (in 2009), parents Louis Trempe and Bernadette Courcelles, and siblings Lionel Trempe, Jacqueline Trempe Smyth, Yvette Trempe Nabours, Jeannine Trempe Miville-Dechêne.
Marjolaine (Maggie) leaves to mourn her sister Louise Trempe Bouvrette of Saint‐Jérôme Québec, children Paul (Elizabeth) of St. John’s, René (Patricia) and Debbie (William) of Ontario; grandchildren Adam, Ella and Emmanuel; nieces and nephews.
The family appreciates many years of kindness and care shown by the staff of Chancellor Park.
A celebration of life will occur at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
My deepest sympathy to all the family on this sad loss. I have many fond memories of your mom and dad while working with the telephone Company,
both wonderful friends, I lost touch with your mom after your dad passed.

I’m very sorry to learn of your dear mom’s passing. She always had a brilliant smile and kind words for all of us when we were growing up. I have no doubt that she is having the Great Reward with your father. They were exceptionally kind and generous, and gave great example to us all.
So sorry to hear of Marjolaines passing. It was lovely to know her over the past couple of years. Sending many condolences to her family.

Paul, Rene, Debbie and families. We are so sorry to learn that your mom has passed. I worked with your Dad at Nfld Telephone and your mom was very helpful to me during the 1977 Canada Summer Games when she translated the Telephone Directory into the French language for which I am always truly thankful. We have many wonderful memories of your parents. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. May your happy memories be a source of comfort to you all.
