Obituary

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 18, 2023, Mary Ann Marsh (nee Power), age 67.

Predeceased by her parents Richard and Florence Power.

Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 50 years, Howard; her children Ann (Ed), Walter (Jennifer) and Marlene (Rick); her grandchildren Meghan, Allison, Morgan and Anna; and her cherished great-granddaughter Krystal. She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings Ella (Damien), Gloria (Walter) and Richard (Veronica); and two people very close to her heart, Connie and Raymond. She also leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and close friends.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses, doctors, and staff of 4 North B, Health Sciences Centre, and her kind and caring dialysis teams at both the Carbonear Hospital and Health Sciences Centre.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road, on Friday, April 21 at 2:00 p.m. Please join the family for a reception at Carnell’s following the service.

Condolences to Mary’s family.I worked with Mary in the Bell department at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland. Mary always made delicious Christmas cakes. Everyone at the Sheraton really enjoyed her cakes.
