Obituary

Passed away at  the S. A. Glenbrook Lodge on September 25th, 2020, age 85 yrs. Kay was born in Liscombe, Nova Scotia to a large family. She met and married her devoted husband, Arch Rose of Newfoundland. They were each others best friend. Together they had one son Arch Jr. (Barbara), daughters Julia and Kathleen. Kay also had two sons from an earlier marriage, Barry and Derek Hulan. Barry has two sons, Tyler and Cody.

Kay had a great love of family. She loved being outside and enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Kay had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Our family is very thankful to the staff of Glenbrook Lodge for all their excellent care.

So sorry to hear of hour Mom’s passing. She was a sweet Lady. My parents, Tom & Alma Furlong,, and you parents were such good friends and our dads worked together at the Holiday Inn. Lots of fond memories of our visits to each others homes. My deepest condolences to you and you families at this most difficult time.
