God Bless you Mary….rest in peace.
I always enjoyed your friendliness and kindness and interest in us. I remember the little gifts you gave when you came to Mom’s house for a dinner one time.

Mary definitely had a piece of my heart and always will. She was one of a kind and I will never forget her humour, charm and quick whit. May she Rest In Peace and fly free with the angels. I’ll never forget you Mern. Love you xoxo
Claire and Corinne,
So sorry to hear of your stepmother’s passing and also your aunt. Regardless of age or circumstance the passing of loved family members leaves an ache in our hearts.
I am sure as well as sadness you are thankful for their lives. Please extend my condolences to other family members.
To the family of Mary Rockwell, from your friends in New Brunswick. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Even though both my parents have passed, I still remembered both Carm and Mary with fond memories. Rest in peace Mary- perhaps you are sitting around a table with Mom, dad , Carm and Dick talking about Duck hunting season and enjoying a drink. Bless you all- Kathy Thomas Parks (daughter of Jim and Marion Thomas).

Marilyn, Gerry and family. Here you are again with another loved one gone to heaven. Although this has been a hard week for you losing two very special people, take comfort knowing they are sisters together as they did not want to be apart.
Losing someone can be hard to take
the pain that you feel when your heart has to break
The memories you keep are all in your mind
as you search your soul for more to find
The years will pass, memories shall fade
but I will assure you, you’ll see them again someday
Surrounded by clouds and pure white doves
they are listening and watching sending you lots of love!
May God comfort you during this difficult time.
Such wonderful memories fill my thoughts. Mary was such a beautiful person with an awesome sense of humour and quick wit that drew so many people to her, and a heart as big as life itself. My life was enriched by her presence. Fly freely, beautiful soul.
Our families have been blessed!
Mary you are gone but will never, never be forgotten. Your sense of humour and kindness will live into eternity. Love you forever. Elizabeth.
Whelan and Rockwell Families
My condolences to you.
Mary and I were in school together starting in grade one or three, and at 85 years that’s a long time ago. We grew up together all through high school, playing on the basketball courts, which for both of us was a lot more fun than in the classroom.
I have been living in B.C. for the past 58 years but we always saw each other when I was visiting at home. And of course, in between, the phone was our lifeline.
You and Agnes are both at peace now so enjoy being with the Angels. I won’t forget you.
Claire,Laurie and family,
Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Mary, she will be missed but the great memories will be with you always.

To the loving family of Merny.
I am Joan Duffy’s granddaughter and Merny was like a second grandmother to my brother Nicholas and I. Whenever we would come to visit Grandma it always meant we got to go to the mall with Grandma and Merny and of course be spoiled then go to lunch and listen to all the stories they both had to tell. They were the best of friends and I was very lucky to have them both in my life. Now they are finally together again starting all kinds of mischief I am sure. An angel on earth was called home for sure with her passing. I wish your family lots of love and peace is this difficult time.

Fly with the angles my friend
Rockwell and Whelan Family,
I was saddened to hear about Mary’s passing, what a joyous, positive spirit Mary was. She was one of my mother’s best friends and I will never forget her sunny disposition. There was never a time when I was in Mary’s company that she wasn’t laughing or joking around and having a glorious time. Every time I saw Mary coming to the house I knew I was in for a good laugh or funny story. She had that natural ability to make people laugh and also feel good about themselves. She had a heart of gold and would do anything to help you out.
Mary is now with Carm and also joins her sister, Agnes. I guess God wanted the package deal and got the two wonderful Whelan sisters at the same time.
God Bless Mary your humour and your love for life will be sorely missed!
Rest in peace my friend ???? I’m gonna miss ur wonderful smile!! Your at peace now????????????
