Obituary
Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by her family on September 21, 2025, aged 79 years.
Predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Ethel Atkinson; brother James Atkinson; and sister Marian Atkinson (Riggio).
She leaves to mourn her immediate family; husband of 59 years, Maurice; son Peter Galgay, and daughter Susan Galgay.
Also left to mourn brother Joseph Atkinson; sister Annette (Michael) Boyle; nephews Adam Riggio (Emily), Patrick Boyle, and cousin Brian Cole. Last but not least C’mon Buddy, her best furry friend.
She also leaves to mourn many extended family members of the Galgay and Foran families.

My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends on her passing 🙏 Mrs.Galgay was a neighbor of ours for many years. She was a lovely lady who always had a friendly smile and was such a kind person. I remember every Halloween we would bring my son and my niece by and she would always give them extra treats and have a little chat. We are sure going to miss her.. God bless

Moss, Peter and Susan: I am so profoundly sorry for the loss of Michele. I take great solace that you were all with her and she undoubtedly felt the love of her family when she crossed over. I remember when Moss and Michele took myself and my children to Flat Rock years ago while I was home for a visit and a few days later, Michele brought me a photo album with all the pictures she had taken that afternoon of our time together. I have always cherish her thoughtfulness.
