Passed peacefully away on Saturday, April 15th, 2023, at the age of 90 years.

Predeceased by her loving and devoted husband, Richard T. Abbott; parents Frances and Henry Hutchings; siblings Leighton, Geraldine, Wilbert, Donald, Ruth, and Eric.

Leaving to mourn are her children, Beverly (Kenneth Bartlett), Richard (Fedva) and Norine (Steve Bannister); grandchildren, Cynthia (Matthew Rushton), Keith (Susan), Glenn (Stephanie), Matthew (Melissa), Sarah (Dylan Burton) and Eliza; great grandchildren, Caleb, Anna, Abby, Kaitlyn, Neil, Tyberius, Aurora, and Isaac; as well as a wide circle of friends.

The family extends a heartfelt thank-you to the staff at Lanes Retirement Living, Airport Heights for their exceptional care.

At Mollie’s request, cremation has taken place.

Visitation is at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, April 20th from 2pm – 5pm.

Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, April 21st, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Carnell Memorial Chapel. The service will be live streamed for those who are unable to attend. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Rd.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
