Mona Roxanne White

November 19, 1959 to January 28, 2026

Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mona, who left this world on January 28, 2026, at the age of 66. She was a soul who carried quiet strength, deep love, and a presence that will never truly be gone.

Born on November 19, 1959, Mona lived a life shaped by resilience, kindness, and connection. She had a way of making people feel seen—through a gentle word, a knowing smile, or simply by being there when it mattered most. Her laughter, values, and love will continue to echo through the lives she touched.

Mona was deeply devoted to family and leaving to celebrate her life are her “baby girl” Angela Lundrigan, loving partner John (JJ) Kane, Brother Adrian White (Dale), her one and only “Sis” Golda White (Ken), brother Shane White (Melanie), nephews Shannon and Matthew White, and her fur babies JC, Foxy, and Shakira.

Mona was deeply loved by her parents Malcolm and June White who have been waiting for her arrival….

Though grief now fills the space she once occupied, gratitude lives there too—for the memories shared, the love given freely, and the legacy left behind. Mona taught us that love does not end; it simply changes form.

A celebration of life will continue on forever…Kind words and thoughts are greatly accepted..

Forever loved. Deeply missed. Always remembered.

Mona carried the burden of cancer for many years. Despite the poor prognosis in recent years, she truly took each day as a blessing. She never wanted to trouble anyone with her illness.
Mona often spoke of how her sister was there for her every day, at any time. Goldie, she spoke so highly of you and praised you for helping her cope through it all.
Ang, you were the greatest gift your mom ever received. She was so incredibly proud of you.
Treasure all the beautiful memories you made with her. Mona was so quiet and gentle.
Rest in peace, Mona.

One word describes Mona and that is Love❤️. She was kind, gentle, and giving. If Mona knew that you needed something, you didn’t have to ask.. she would be the first to offer! Fly high with the angels my friend, because thats what you have always been. 💕🌺 Angie you were her world! ❤️

I am so sorry to hear of Mona‘s passing.. Her mother June grew up with us, her Hiscock cousins on Cowards Island until she went teaching and met Malcolm. June cherished her children and loved her other family at Eastport and Burnside.. Sending condolences to all of Mona’s family.
