To all who loved Monty, I extend my heart-felt condolencers. I will miss Monty’s regular visits to Fred’s Records and most of all our chats and laughs. I confided in Monty about family illnes/struggles and experienes as well as about the haunted house I live in. I would tell him about the nurses, soldiersa nd straglers who would wisp around my bedroom at night. When Monty came to fred’s he would ask me if things were busy at “The Inn”. It’s wonderful, silly rapport like that I will miss but more importantly think of from time to time when Monty crosses my mind. He was a sweet, kind and funny man. rest In Peace, my friend.

Mack, Chris and Peter my sincere condolences on Monty’s passing. He was a fixture on Eric Street my whole life. In the latter years we shared quite a few conversations together. He was a good man and will be missed.

Hi Mack and the Barfoot family, on behalf of my wife Ingrid and myself we wish to extend our sincere condolences on the passing of Monty. Met Monty but once with you many years back and enjoyed the short gathering very much.

Sending heartfelt condolences to the Barfoot family. Monty was known to us all growing up on Eric Street as a quiet man who walked everywhere. I enjoyed a lovely, long chat with him last summer.

Mack, Chris and Peter….
I am very sad to hear about Mont’s passing. Mont was such a presence in our neighborhood when we were growing up. He was a bit of an uncle to us all. As i get older myself. I realize that he was a very refined gentlemen in his love of english bicycles, music and maintaining his home. For sure he will be missed. However, his presence will endure in your hearts.

Mack, Cathy and I were so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved brother Monty. Monty was a man who lived a wonderful life. A hard working, unassuming, honest, kind and loving individual. He was always there for his family and loyal to those who were lucky enough to call him friend. The world would be a much better place if it was filled with people like Monty Barfoot. God bless you Monty, RIP and may his memory be a blessing.. Dave and Cathy Moore.
