To the family, your Dad taught me at st Teresa’s school Mindy pond road. He was my favorite teacher He always told stories about his family. It was evident the love he had for you all. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your mother I hope it consoles you knowing your mom and dad are finally together again. Rip Mrs Abbott
Terry, Debbie, Dylan and Jason, please accept my most sincere condolences. I am so grateful that i wandered off that campsite 59 years ago. The connection with your family has meant so much to all of us in the Spurrell family. I travelled to St. John’s 5 times in 2024, and on 2 of those trips, mom and i went in to Hillcrest to visit your mom. She was always so thrilled to see me, as I was so see her. I hear her familiar words of “my dear” echoing within my heart.
I was able to watch her funeral on Saturday and she was gifted a beautiful send off that she so well deserved (and she planned it well too!).
Sending hugs and care,
Diane
