My parents, brothers and I have very fond memories of Noel from his days as our sailing instructor in 1980! He brought a lot of joy and enthusiasm to his work and made a lasting positive impression on us all.

Our sincere condolences to Keir, family, and friends of Noel.

We first knew Noel when our families were neighbours on Leslie Street in the early 90s. We shared the joy of becoming new parents when the twins and our daughter were born within a few days of each other. We appreciated and enjoyed Noel’s kind nature, ready smile, and sense of humour. He brightened the room, and had a way of putting you at ease.

In later years, we would occasionally encounter Noel and share a few laughs and memories.

It is clear that Noel meant so much to so many. He will be remembered always for his smile, warmth, and genuine kindness.
