Obituary
Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 18th, 2023 at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre, Norma Elaine Miller, aged 66 years.
Predeceased by her parents, Wesley and Nina Crocker; daughter Jennifer Miller; brothers, Fred and Lloyd; niece Kimberly Crocker; aunt, Melva Walsh; mother and father in law, Delores and Ernest Miller.
Leaving to mourn loving husband of 45 years, Noel; daughter April Murphy (Sean); grandsons, Liam and Dylan Murphy; brother, Wayne Crocker; sisters in law, Mary Crocker, Evelyn Crocker and Beverly Miller; brother in law, Dean Miller (Lisa); uncles, Lloyd Curnew and Art Curnew; nephews, Sheldon Crocker, Jody Crocker (Leslie), Jamie Crocker, Christopher Squires (Penney), and Adam Miller, nieces, Shannon Crocker, Kelly Squires (Francis Bartlett), Erin Manning (Greg); close family friend Justin Martin; also other relatives and friends in St. John’s and Carbonear.
Special thanks to the kind, caring and hard working staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Miller Centre.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday, February 21st and Wednesday, February 22nd.
Funeral service to take place on Thursday, February 23rd, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in St. Lawrence Anglican Cemetery, Bauline Ext., Portugal Cove.
In lieu of flowers. Donations in Norma’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

I’m still in shock, finding out a month later that Norma is gone, she was such a beautiful person to know. My deepest condolences to her daughter and husband as they grieve the loss of a wonderful soul. You will be sincerely missed by your friends here in New York.

I will never forget her kindness, her generosity, and her gift for gab. I will treasure all the good times we shared over the years. May we never forget the joy she brought us.
