Sincere Condolences to the Hiscock family on the passing of Mr. Hiscock . I have fond memories of being in his class at I. J. Samson in the mid – sixties . As I recall he came to class one day a very proud man for his wife had just given birth to baby Michele . Some teachers you never forget and Norm is one of them .

I’m sorry to hear of. Mr. Hiscock’s passing; my condolences to his family and friends. He was my Grade 9 homeroom teacher at I .J. Samson in the mid-1970s. Although I didn’t see him since leaving IJ, I remember that year fondly, he was a remarkable and committed teacher. One of a kind.

I was a student of Mr Hiscocks in the 70’s, he was the sweetest man and was well respected by his students. The last time I spoke with him, we were shopping, I stopped to say hello. It’s amazing the memory our old school teachers have, they seem to remember everyone they taught. He asked me if I had children and when I told him yes I did, he responded by saying, “Now you know what it’s all about!” Rest In Peace, Mr. Hiscock.

To the Hiscock family, please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of a wonderful man.
Mr. Hiscock was the best teacher and my favourite teacher throughout school. He taught me at I. J. Sampson during 67/68. Myself and many more students cherished his wisdom, his stories and the care he had for each person who walked through his door. Sir, you have left an abundance of wonderful memories with those you had taught and knew.
Even after many years, I met him at my son’s grade 12 parent-teacher interview and he remembered my name, as he did with many, many other students.
When you get to heaven, your students whom have passed on before you, will be sitting at their desks waiting for you to walk up to the blackboard and start your day with your stories your humor and your wonderful style of teaching. Thank you sir, thank you.
Rest in Peace Mr. Hiscock and God bless.

Mr. Hiscock was my favourite teacher. I smile when I think of him. He left an impact on me. Condolences to his family.
