Cathy and the Barnes Family
We were saddened to learn that Mrs. Barnes had passed away. Mrs. Barnes, as we always called her, was a much sought after babysitter in our neighborhood, so we always felt fortunate when we called her and she was available to sit our two daughters. We often returned home to the smell of freshly baked cookies and laundry sorted and ironed. That was many years ago but we’ve kept in touch through an exchange of Christmas cards when she would always want news of our girls. We are very sorry for your loss and extend our deepest sympathy to all the family.
Sincerely
Netta and Bob Wells

Dear Cathy, Randy and Gary,
We are so sad to learn about your mom’s passing. We have many fond memories of her and your dad from Topsail. they were like a surrogate nanny and poppy to our young kids. Wonderful baby sitters!! Olga. often made my bread and cookies whenever she baby sat. She was famous for her Christmas Stockings and knit one for all of our family,. We shall think fondly of her whenever we take them out at Christmas.

Randy, Gary and Cathy; The passing of your Mother is never easy; no matter her age; but at this time of year it must weigh even heavier on your hearts. Her and Mom were friends thru our lifetimes; and even longer; but grew closer during their years together at MeadowCreek., where they were loving known as “the two Olga’s”. Ann and I would frequently visit with her while down to see Mom. From my own experience I can tell you, she will be immensely missed. Hold fast to your faith, and your precious memories of her will last forever in your hearts. God bless. Rest In Peace, Aunt Olga..
