It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Pansy Jean Quinn of Mount Pearl, NL, announce her passing at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, NL.

Pansy leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of nearly 39 years, Bill, and her siblings: Karen, Maunda (Laurence), Jerry (Nola), Judy (Randy), Randy (Mary), Paula (Tom), and Theresa (Dean); in-laws, Bernadette, Eddie (Sarah), Judy (Bruce), Paul (Tina).   Also left to mourn are many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Pansy was predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret Vincent; grandparents, James and Idella Vincent, Warwick and Pearl Vincent; brother-in-law Derrick Simms; brother-in-law Bob and nephew Colin, and in-laws Alice and Edward Quinn.

Pansy moved to St. John’s at the age of 16. For a short period, she worked as a nanny but soon discovered that children were not her passion. Pansy faced many health challenges with courage and a determined spirit. She was a fighter.

The family would like to express appreciation to the many health care providers throughout her journey.

sorry for your loss

Randy my sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of your sister Pansy.

I am saddened to learn of Pansy’s passing. She was a good friend of my aunt’s, growing up in Triton,, and was always full of fun, joy and laughter. Seeing her smile and having a quick chat at the Time Horton’s on Kenmount Rd. was a special part of my day for many years. Sending love and deepest condolences to the Vincent family on the loss of this incrediblly special lady. She will always be spreading joy and laughter.

To Pansy’s husband, family members and former coworkers I would like to offer deepest, heartfelt sympathy on her passing. I only knew Pansy from Tim Horton’s on Kenmount Road. She served me many a coffee and sandwich, always with a smile and her beautiful red lipstick. When she received her 40 year award she was beaming.. She loved working with the teenagers said that’s what kept her young. I hope you are resting high on that mountain and someone is serving you with a big smile.

To all Pansy’s family sincere condolences on her passing. I first met Pansy in the early 80’s when she was working at Tim’s on Kenmount Road. She served me many coffees when our office was located there She was always so friendly. I hadn’t seen her for quite a number of years until I dropped into the new location on Kenmount Road and she knew me right off. It was so good to talk to her again.
Rest in Peace Pansy and fly high with the angels!
