Our sincere condolences to Paul’s family and friends. We both worked at the Vera Perlin Schools, Patrick St & Pennywell Road, so we knew Paul when he was young. He was always polite, kind and helpful. Always with a smile too. I last saw him in 1988 at St Clare’s Hospital when I was visiting my mother. Paul came with his papers and, as I had been living away for more than 12 years then, he hesitated for only a few seconds before that wonderful smile of recognition lit his face. We had a chat, brief but nice. We are glad we had the privilege of knowing Paul and spending time with him for so many years. Rest in peace, dear Paul.

To The Rendell Family

Family
It is with sincere sadness that we learned of Paul’s passing…we were certain he would live forever…(certainly, in many respects, he will)
Such a gentle soul and more ‘aware’ than most of us.
Every time we met he would ask of our family…remembering the many years we spent ‘on our street’. Though we have not seen or spoken to him in recent years, we often have spoken about him and his impact on our perception of life…he was always, and forever, a positive influence and an inspiration.
We had never seen him cross or discouraged; always a smile and a welcoming embrace.
Over the years our ‘old neighbourhood’ had changed but Paul (and Suzanne) were the ‘thread that binds’…giving us the last vestige to our childhood home.
Rest In Peace Dearest Paul.
Your life has been a blessing to all,; your memory, a treasure.

To Noel and family please accept my sincere sympathies on Pauls passing.. It has been many a year since I last saw and spoke to Paul. His kind heart and infectious smile stays with anyone who met him. May he RIP

Susanne, please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of your brother, keep his memories close to your heart…………Jacqueline (Hillyard) Piercey
