June 3, 1934 to May 11, 2022

Obituary

Passed peacefully away at the Miller Centre at the age of 87.  Predeceased by his parents Don and Maggie Clouston, son Donald Clouston, and brother-in-law Paul Johnson. 

Left with a lifetime of fond and loving memories his wife Pearle (Gosse), daughter Cindy, daughter-in-law Violet, sisters Sally Johnson, Donna Clouston, brother-in-law Gordon R. Gosse (Betty).  Peter will also be remembered by a large circle of extended family and friends. 

Peter was a true gentleman and will be sorely missed.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the thoughtfulness of many friends and neighbours.

The family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, May 15 from 10am-12pm, and 2-4pm.  Funeral service will be held from St. David’s Presbyterian Church, 98 Elizabeth Avenue, on Monday, May 16 at 11am.  Interment to follow in the Clouston family plot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

So sorry to hear of Peters’ passing , our sincere condolences to Pearl , Cindy , and Peters’ family. I have many fond memories of when I worked for Peter at Clouston Motors and enjoyable ones of our moose hunting trips to Colinet, A real gentleman and true friend , may he rest in peace.

So deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Clouston. He was such a dear friend of my parents, Harold and Elizabeth Butler. I always remember him as a gentle man with a warm smile. I am sure the “ Friday night crowd “ in heaven greatly him warmly.
