Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ralph, who passed away at home on July 1, 2026, at the age of 81, in the place he loved and where he would have wanted to be.

He leaves behind the love of his life and devoted wife, Josephine, whom he cherished beyond words. He was an incredibly proud father to his son, Mark, whose accomplishments and character filled him with pride each and every day. He also leaves behind his beloved daughter-in-law, Krystle, whom he loved as his own daughter.

To his beloved granddaughters, Lydia and Anna, he was simply “Poppy Ralph.” They were the light of his life, and he loved them more than words could ever express. Every moment spent with them was precious to him, and the love they shared will remain a lasting part of their hearts forever.

He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, especially watching the birds visit his yard and the airplanes passing overhead. Those quiet moments reflected the gentle, appreciative spirit that defined him.

Our family extends heartfelt gratitude to the first responders whose professionalism, compassion, and kindness brought comfort during one of the most difficult moments of our lives.

Special thank you is extended to Ms. Shawna Earle. A longtime family friend as well as the funeral director who guided us through this difficult time, Shawna provided exceptional care, guidance, and unwavering support as she helped Mark and Josephine navigate this heartbreaking time. Her compassion, professionalism, and dedication ensured that his final wishes were honored with dignity and respect. Our family will always be grateful for the comfort and strength she gave us when we needed it most.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. His family will remember and celebrate his life privately.

Though he is no longer with us, his love, kindness, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. To his family, he will always be a devoted husband, a proud father, and forever Poppy Ralph.” He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
