It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, grandfather, and uncle – Randolph Llewellyn Hobbs, who passed away suddenly on Christmas Day at the age of 67.
Predeceased by his parents, Edith and Cyril Hobbs; sisters, Jocelyn and Shelly; and his beloved daughter, Autumn Joy.
Leaving to mourn are his beautiful children, Mark, Randy, David (Melissa), Brock (Amber), and Brandon – whom he loved like his own; all his precious grandchildren, whom he loved dearly; sisters Anna, Vivian (Robert), Kim (James); brother Ian (Harold); a large number of nieces and nephews too many to mention; and the person who always held a special place in Randy’s heart was Lorna Crane.
Randy was a very kind soul who would help anyone. His favourite thing was being with his beloved family and listening to music. Randy loved to sing, and he could certainly do that. When Randy sang, everyone stopped to listen because he put his heart and soul into it. We will all miss his hands banging on the table to the beat of the song.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. On Thursday, January 2nd from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service to follow at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 3rd at 2:00 PM.
Until we meet again
Soar, and never stop singing.
